Melilax Pediatric combines an evacuative action with a protective and soothing action on the rectal mucosa. The dual action of Melilax is achieved thanks to PROMELAXIN, a complex of nectar and honeydew honeys carefully selected and processed based on their monosaccharide, polysaccharide and melanoidin content, enriched with the polysaccharide fraction of Aloe and Mallow.
Melilax Pediatric exerts an evacuative action, inducing a physiological and balanced stimulus for the activation of defecation. Furthermore, thanks to its mucus-like properties and its viscosity, it protects the rectal mucosa during the passage of stool, mimicking the lubricating action of physiological mucus.
Indications
Melilax Pediatric is indicated for the treatment of constipation in children and infants, even in the presence of visceral hypersensitivity (such as in irritable bowel syndrome), anal fissures and hemorrhoids. The product clears the intestine and reduces discomfort, irritation and inflammation associated with constipation.
Composition
- Functional substances 73.2%: Promelaxin active complex of honeys and polysaccharides from Aloe and Mallow (titled in: monosaccharides greater than or equal to 50%, polysaccharides with molecular weight greater than 20000 daltons greater than or equal to 0.3%).
- Other components: Hydroglycerin mixture, lemon juice, lavender essential oil.
