General description
Salicru's UBT series batteries are rechargeable lead-dioxide lead systems. The sulfuric acid electrolyte is absorbed by separators and plates, which are immobilized in turn. The battery is completely sealed and airtight and therefore maintenance-free, allowing it to be used in any position. In the event that the battery is accidentally overloaded producing hydrogen and oxygen, special unidirectional valves allow gases to escape to the outside preventing overpressure inside.
