The time-of-flight sensor continuously projects an infrared beam to measure the distance between the machine and your hair.
Protects automatically
Air temperature is automatically reduced as you get closer to your hair and scalp. This allows for gentle close-up drying, greater thermal comfort, and improved scalp moisture retention.
Pleasant drying at short distance
Compatible with the gentle air attachment, the narrow concentrator nozzle, and the wide smoothing nozzle. It intelligently overrides custom heat settings for greater comfort.
Pauses when you stop
Pause detection uses an accelerometer with a motion sensor to know when you have put the dryer down while styling. It automatically deactivates heat and reduces airflow and noise.
Learns and adapts to your styling habits
Smart attachments come preconfigured with recommended airflow and heat settings that you can customize. Thanks to a Hall sensor, it detects which styling attachment is connected and automatically switches to the last used settings.
