The soldered ends of the heatpipes are hidden under the screwed-on aluminum cover, allowing it to integrate perfectly into any PC setup and highlight both performance and appearance.

Freezer 36 – tested and confirmed by Intel

Intel has tested and confirmed the Freezer 36 on the i9-13900K/KF, i9-14900K/KF, and i9-13900KS in the Enthusiast and Desktop categories. In these tests, Intel considered both the mounting with contact frame and the cooler's performance.

Future-proof compatibility

The Freezer 36 is multi-compatible with Intel and AMD sockets. Intel will launch Arrow Lake processors on the LGA1851 socket in the future. We guarantee full compatibility. All Freezer 36 units can be used with the new Intel LGA1851 socket without limitations.

Improved fan mounting

Thanks to the innovative mounting system, both fans are easily installed on the cooler via a click system. This method eliminates the need for clips, facilitating cooler installation or fan replacement, even if the cooler is already installed. The Freezer 36 is therefore compatible with most 120 mm fans.

Contact Frame LGA1851 | LGA1700

Intel's Independent Loading Mechanism (ILM) deforms the CPU by pressing it into the socket at two points with over 40 kg of force. This causes pressure on the PCB, the DIE, and the solder layer between the DIE and the IHS (Integrated Heat Spreader). With high thermal load, this can cause long-term issues. The ARCTIC mounting frame does not deform the CPU, drastically reduces mechanical stress, is quick and easy to install, and allows the cooler to be screwed into the CPU backplate. As a result, mechanical stress on the motherboard and CPU is minimized, cooling performance remains constant, and installation is quick and simple.

High-quality bearing

Thanks to an alloy-lubricant combination developed in Germany, friction within the bearing is minimized, and higher efficiency is achieved. In addition to preventing lubricant loss, wear on the shaft and bushing is also minimized. This generates less heat, produces less noise in the bearing, and significantly extends the fan's lifespan.

Optimized heatsink

The heatsink fins are open on the sides, allowing the rear fan to pull additional cold air from the case through the heatsink. This side-flow design enables even more efficient ventilation.

P-fans with high static pressure

ARCTIC relies on proven P-fans, known for their high performance. The P-series is particularly suitable for use on coolers and radiators. Due to the dense fin structure, the fans used achieve significantly better performance than fans designed for airflow, thanks to their high static pressure.

Wide selection of variants

The Freezer 36 is available in five different versions, all equipped with two fans in a push-pull configuration. In addition to the standard model with an aluminum heatsink design, there is also a version with a black heatsink. For continuous operation, there is also the CO version, equipped with fans with dual ball bearings. Alternatively, users can choose between a black and a white version with A-RGB fans.
