Quiet Fans with Fluid Dynamic Bearings
Two 140mm thermo-regulated (PWM) high-performance fluid dynamic bearing (FDB) fans that generate an airflow of 95.5 CFM with very quiet operation.
With FDB technology, when the fan shaft rotates, high-pressure oil moves along the grooves of the bearing sleeve to generate a thin layer of lubrication. As the rotation speed increases, so does the dynamic oil pressure, allowing smooth and effortless rotation.
High-performance FDB fans are designed so that the lubrication of the bearing surface reduces friction and vibration, thereby reducing total energy consumption and making them extremely reliable and durable.
